This is the absolute fastest and simplest way to get your node working for Burning Man. The whole process takes ~5 minutes if you follow the steps exactly. Afterwards, you will set up a Camp Channel/Location Sharing
#1 The “Everyone” channel is public.
When you send a message there, everyone on the mesh will receive it.
You can mute this chat in the apps if you don't want to get notifications.
#2 Do NOT share your location on the “Everyone” channel.
This is disabled by default in the firmware for a reason.
If enabled, everyone will see where you are, and your node will generate tons of unnecessary traffic — slowing down the mesh for everyone.
And you'll look like a wiener. 😛
Plug your device into your computer
Go to burn.meshtastic.org
Click the 🚀 next to “Select Target Device”. This should automatically set the device to the one you have once you select it in the pop-up.
Select the firmware in the flasher from the drop down (only one should show)
Now click Flash
Follow the instructions that pop up
🎉 Congrats! Your device now has the correct firmware.
Every device is different. If you’re stuck, check the official Meshtastic documentation for your specific model.

Your node will reboot. Reconnect to it in the app once it’s back online.
You may need to enter the Bluetooth password again — this will be the last time.
Settings > LoRa > Region
Your node should reboot — that means it worked!
Settings > User
Your node is now fully set up and ready to go.
You can start messaging and exploring Burning Mesh!
Now head over to Camp Channels and Location Sharing
Also, you can change your bluetooth password by going to Settings > Bluetooth > Fixed Pin
